The La Push Beach!

A figure rolled over in the comfy-looking sleeping bag, kicking damp sand all over the place. A tuft of blonde mane poked out of the sleeping bag which seemed to be unzipping itself from the inside.

*groans and streches*

The sun was just rising over the strip of beach that was around the La Push area, a small cabin was only several feet away from where the figure slept. It was a nice change getting out of the house...stepping onto the back portch and then meeting a gorgeous (but chilly) La Push beach.

Damn, I'm up earlyyy!

*yawns once more*

Green eyes scanned the foamy shoreline where the waves crashed into the fine sand, it'd be a nice morning for a swim and a jog...as long as nobody unwanted showed up...including those vermin blood-suckers.

*Sensing someone near, she stops*

Damn..leave it to those stupid mutts to think to have someone watch the shoreline...hmmm, maybe they didnt follow me...

*branches are heard snapping in the distance*

Nevermind...looks like I dont have a choice.

*She quietly steps out of the forest shadow and jogs toward the water, hoping not to be noticed by the sleeping werewolf*

Joelle stood taking off her shirt & shorts to reveal a bathing suit underneath, "Swim time.." With a small grin she dove into the foamy shore, the freezing water on her fever-like skin was comforting. The sun peeked out from behind clouds just to let a few rays brighten up the beach. 'Today will be nice..' She thought as she dove back under the water, fully sumberging her mane of hair.

*Ivy retreated into the shelter of the forest and found a hiding place under a log, behind some bushes to think of a new plan*

She surfaced, her nose tingling. 'A Cullen?' She ran out of the water, hoping the salty water would mask her scent long enough to find out which blood-sucking fiend was on her territory.

She tracked the prints through the forest finally coming upon a female vampire, she looked distraught, maybe she needed help.

"Hello?"

*A string of slurred curses errupted from her lips.*

Okay, breathe, maybe, maybe she'll let me go...I wasnt going to hurt anyone...maybe...

*She raised her hands in a surrender and came out of her hiding place.*

"I-I wasnt hurting anyone, I promise. I'll leave. I wasn't trying to start any trouble. Honest."

*She started to walk towards the water to swim away when a voice stopped her*

Her hair stood on end, she hated dealing with them, plus the smell hurt her nose.

"If you aren't a Cullen, you'll have to leave because you're obviously on our territory."

'Jacob, Calm yourself.'

"I'm not with the Cullen's. Please dont start a war with them over little ol' me. I was just..passing through. I'm..uhm...running away. So, If its okay, I'll just, go to the shore and..swim away. You wont hear from me again. I wont come back."

She started to walk away slowly when she felt the boys hand grab her arm.

I AM CALM! But this girl will pay for crossing the line...Sam will want to hear about this so she'll just come back with us...and just in case she is with the Cullens, now we've got her prisoner.

"No! You're coming with us. You crossed the line and now you'll pay."

He picked her up and ran back into La Push with her.

"She is with us.. Ivy is new, she's being chased by a human-feeding pack. We need to meet on neutral territory to discuss the situation. Human lives as well as werewolf and vampire lives are at stake here..."

He eyed Jacob sensing his tense-ness and aboration toward Edward.

He stoped and glared at Edward.

"You should've warned your new blood-sucking animal about our treaty line. I'll go find Sam and the Others and we can meet at the line to discuss this...situation. But the girl is coming with us. She crossed the line and she'll be punished for it."

He continued to run, leaving a shocked Edward behind

Edward ran back to the treaty line, careful to stay on the vampire side.

He dialed Artemis... It rang through to her voicemail.
"Meet me at the treaty line, bring the family...There's trouble."

Joelle sat on the beach, half clothed taking a breather. So much was running through her mind at once; Jacob and his rash decisions...the invading blood-suckers....mortals in danger. She needed a good swim in the chilling water. And with that, she jumped in to the churning waves, her unusually warm body clashing with the icey water...creating a lovely relaxing sensation. Who cares about Jacob and the rest of the troublsesome pack.

Jacob was in human form and was walking around shirtless with jean short rip-offs (once were jeans) Staying a little hidden, Jacob sat in the sand on the beach hoping she wouldnt see or smell him.

Yeah she's beautiful but jeez, I thought I could pick my own wife. Just because I'm heir to the wolf legend doesnt mean they get control of my life.I don't even want to be married..not after...*sigh* I dont care. She's not into me like that and neither am I into her. I will not get with Joelle. She's just...I dont know. I like her and everything but..Arranged marriages just arent my thing. And I'm not going to let them control me.
