Shaking the water of her hair she jogged out of the water. Not bothering to pay attention to the fact that Jacob was only feet away and he didn't look so happy. Joelle collasped down on to the sand, laying out stretching her limbs.

"mmmmm."

Jacob, confused about his feelings and not knowing what to do, rose from his hiding place and trudged through the sand to her side. He clumsily fell to the ground and lay back on his elbows beside her, peering down at her.

"Have a nice swim?"

He waited for her to continue but when she didnt, he raised an eyebrow at her.

She pulled her hair up into a loose bun.

"I don't care.." She mumbled rolling on to her stomach to try and get some sun on her bare back.

(She's in a bathing suit!)

Jacob turned and started to walk away. He stopped when his frustraions got the best of him.

"Why do you do this Joelle? One minute your hot and the next you go cold? You can't make up your mind if you want to be friends or not? Or are you just naturally this moody? Do you just do this with me? Cuz no matter how hard I try no one seems to believe me when I say I would never even dream of marrying you!!!

Jacobs eyes were lit with a fury that compared to no other. After what happened with Bella, this was definately not what he needed.

She sighed heavily and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Jacob Black, I would never marry you...ever."

"Thank God for that, Joelle. And it wouldn't surprise me one bit if you ended up old and grey and alone!"

And with that, Jacob stormed off into the forest, searching for refuge he knew he wouldnt find.
